While driving back from Phoenix Arizona we drove though the wind farms near Palm Springs. It was storming on the south side of Interstate 10 and blue skies on the north side. I thought it was very interesting. It was also snowing in the mountains above the farm. All of this happening in sunny Southern California at the same moment -- maybe it is that Global warming I have heard of. Sharon

I am gald you put 2 photos of this up on your site. They are always very interesting to me. The mountains behind and heavy clouds all make a great shot. Thankyou so much for stopping and taking this photo. Best Wishes, David :-))

Hello David. If you notice one side of the freeway the sun was shining and on the other the clouds were coming in fast over the mountains. It was snowing at the top of the mountain and I liked the way it was so dark above. I wish I owned just one of the windmills. I could run all of my electrical needs for free. They are quite interesting and very large. Sharon

It was a dark and stormy ... uh ... day. The wind turbines spun almost angrily against the menacing black clouds... ;) ... Nice shot!

I too find the windfarms fascinating. See my shot of that windfarm.
