in memory of ctv. good bye moon.
What a nice light, Bits! Glowing wave, glowing people... Well, it's a glowing picture. And a full moon!
Nice one Bitsy! I got up early all rigged to go to the beach and catch the moon setting by Tow Hill, just happens to be snowing though.
Gorgeous shot BnP! Although it looks like you need more snow sent your way. Perhaps Guy can accommodate.
Thanks Norrel, Guy, and Conrad ! Conrad- Guy is quite welcome to keep all his snow right there! Maybe it will give him the chance to photograph a white seagull against the snow - look what it did for his cat! But its too bad you missing the full moon Guy - now we're all gonna be waiting for that view - it will sure be a nice one.
And Norrel - you missing the glowing dogs!! I think I forgot to take the camera off of the 'cloudy' setting. But the setting sun was great.
SAY! Did you know that kamaly has one that looks a very lot like this one? I like the sweeping breaker line hooking around.
Dogs? I see four glowing people, two of them searching the beach for clams.
Hmmm - maybe they were digging with their hands, that's why I thought they were dogs! Well, that and the fact I was about the only person there without a dog in tow. It was a regular canine circus!
Hmmm, Norrel - maybe they were digging with their hands, that's why I thought they were dogs! Well, that and the fact I was about the only person there without a dog in tow. It was a regular canine circus! Had to walk quite a ways to be able to frame a shot that didn't have about 20 people and 40 dogs in it. (and there are two more dogs to the far right of the shot, too)
And thanks Not1Bubble! The sand spit isn't always visible - it was a lower tide than normal, so I was pretty happy to get it in the shot. Kamaly left and was over at another beach to the NW for her shots, though. Closer to the island, so the moon seemed smaller on her shot. But she's the one who got to see lots of clam shells ((quahogs) washed up over at that beach.
