you have some top notch hdrs here, I was having trouble getting a good one after getting a 40d, they all seemed blurry or noisy or the color just pain out of whack.

Hey Don, thanks for the thumbs up on my HDRs. For some reason, I just am hooked on it...one reason is it destroys the adage of "good light"/"bad light". In HDR it's always amazing light, all the time! What I've learned, and by no means am I anywhere near those that have mastered this technique, is that grain is solved in two ways...one, never shoot above ISO 100 and use Noise Ninja liberally. Also, there are in Photomatrix subtle adjustments to be made in the slider bars to reduce noise. On the blurry issue...always manual focus...this is key since in a three-shot sequence, autofocus will not be the same for each. And for the color issue...not sure on that. I do use Viveza by NikSoftware to give some splash color highlights at times. But, with a 40d, you have an awesome camera and with continuous shooting mode and AEB, no reason you can't get great HDR images and never have to use a tripod. Best, SirFin

I have been messing with the on camera settings and put them all to zero and it helped big time, still not getting this quality though. might also be the subjects, I think now seeing this I might head out to the local cemetery again and try some HDRs there.
