LAMENTAVELMENTE,OBSERVAMOS,POR MEIO DESTA FOTO, O CRIME COMETIDO PELOS INGLESES CONTRA O IMPERADOR BONAPARTE, CUJA VIDA EM CLAUSURO CONDENOU-O A UMA MORTE HUMILHANTE E, AO MESMO TEMPO, SIGILOSA.tAL SIGILO DEVEU-SE PRINCIPALMENTE AO TEMOR QUE ELE IMPUTAVA AS MONARQUIAS EUROPEIAS.ASSIM TAMBÉM ,AO CLAUSTRO, OS INGLESES ENVIARAM MANDELA.

Claudio, my friend, such are the fortunes and "unfortunes" of war.One wouldn't expect the vanquished to be paraded by the enemy as some sort of hero (although some of us here in the UK still have great admiration for Napoleon).

i visited LONGWOOD in 1956 off one of the Union Castle mail boats {I was eleven years old} and sat on Nepolions tortoise. Is he still alive? The tortoise that is.
