greetings to you **roeli, & hello from Texas. henry
This is a beautiful shot , love it... I only wish my first Sony digital camera had more than a 1.44 floppy drive to store my pathetic 129kb images on when i was here.... :(
Lol..., You were in a photografic bind! At the time it was a cool camera though, a friend of mine had one like that.
If you look in the distance, the white buildings with red roofs belong to The Presidio Military Base.
ExceLLent shot of Lombard Street!
I'm in a similar situation as GasGas, but I didn't have a digital camera. It was an analog Minolta..
I remember my first 35mm camera was a Yashica FX. Heavy as a brick with a 55mm lense. But it did have a light meter built in, a little wire on the left side in the view finder that you had to get centered. Loved it then (1976) but if someone tried to give me one now I would throw it at them!!
Principally my second Minolta (~1982) is still working. The problem could be that I can't find any roll films anymore for it.
And the lens 70-210 mm still is of a good quality, but unfortunately it doesn't work with the electronic of the new bodies :-/
Yep on all of the above. After I went digital about 5 years ago, I was looking at what I thought were some of my better 35mm shots and realized that they were completely inferior to the shots I was able to get with my newer equipment. Thus I determined that my Cannon Rebel, its 70-300 lens, it's 55mm lens, and its 2x converter should just go in the trash because they were basically obsolete. :-)
