you got a hold of a giant? or was it a morrell that I suggested? I think it was a puffball, delicious eh? man I cant wait to get a hold of a few of those.
Bonjour Michel! comment allez-vous? ici elle est appelée la crinière hirsute, et il est très bon! il est dommage qu'ils meurent et deviennent noires si vite.
Thanks Tom! glad you liked it! sorry about the big blast of photos, after my last shoot I was cleaning out my hard drive of shots that are no good and found a few(lot) of forgotten gems. I also decided to redo a few old ones, see how they do now and delete the old ones. I am learning so much so fast here that I keep catching myself saying that could be better, or I'm going to try that again and see if I can improve it. I appreciate the support and tips I get from folks like you, it has been a big help to me and my learning. as far as fractalius gos, I put up a few new ones but not too many. I will start working on them more now and give every one a chance to get caught up on this one, I should probably be finished uploading here untill spring(or if there is a beautiful day here in between).

It really is a pretty good macro, Don. The mushroom crowd will be mightily pleased with your offering.
lovely. it kinda looks like trees with that "trunk" in the background
Thanks N1W, glad you liked this delicious little bastard!
do you guys get these ones over there RT? the are excellent fried with butter and garlic.
unfortunately with the financial turmoil these days most gnomes are out of work and and have taken to freelance shoe repair.
Hi Don, magical mushrooms?
nope. shaggy mane. mmmm, delicious!
I like your economic take on the gnomes, Don.
I don't know what this particular mushroom is, but I've had the puff variety in the early spring as you suggest, and they're quite tasty, to be sure.

"Coprin chevelu", un excellent champignon à manger avant qu'il noircisse. Amitiés, Michel
