Train is placed on front of museum TATRA - Koprivnice. One from a few our truck producer.

M290 - SLOVAKIAN DART train was developed and build 1934-36 in TATRA factory, Tatra 68 type. Head of team designer, Hans Ledwinka from TATRA made a few technical news, ie. electromechanical power transfer by patent No.53 735

The provider ČSD marked as M290 according ing. Kryšpín´s code: M-diesel engine power, 2 driven axles,9+3x10 speed kmh, 0+10 weight per axle in tonnes - 36 tonnes).

Trial trip of 3.june 1936 reach max speed 148kmh, average 110 kmh (Prerov-Ceska Trebova,2 stops, max speed at CSD track).

The train went Praha-Bratislava way for 4,5h, average travel speed 92-97kmh is record of this a time at CSD railways.
