Steffan,obviously you photographed the British Holland (A1) before it corroded away. When I was there several years ago, much of the engine had disappeared. I have been researching 1860-1905 submarines for several years and have a website dedicated to John Holland submarines. My question is: do you have a photograph of the other side of the 4 cylinder Otto Gasoline engine showing the valve gear?
