As I am a guide in the Algerian Sahara I traveled to this place for many times since 1987. The location on the foto is NOT the Assekrem. I suppose it has been taken on a journey to the Tassili du Hoggar, a location south of the Assekrem, situated in the Hoggar volcanic mountains.
Sono d'accordo con Annickdevloo, anch'io ho viaggiato molto nel Sahara, e certamente questa foto non è stata scattata all'Assekrem. E la localizzazione più probabile è proprio il Tassili dell'Hoggar, credo nei pressi di Tin Akashaker.
