Hi Samo T, these cliffs are the result of volcanic eruptions a couple of centuries ago and the effect of the pounding Atlantic Ocean on the rock. We were actually watching the guy just visible on the butress on the left who was just about to hang out over the sea in the name of art!! He didn't make it while we were there so I don't know how he eventually got on :-)

Warm regards,

I see that you were on vacation (in warmer regions), and returned with a beautiful and interesting photos. Really nice shot!

Hi Gligo, indeed we were on the lovely Lanzorete in the Canary Islands. The place was very interesting and I thank you for your warm compliments.

Very best regards,

A wild looking landscape to scurry around in Séan. Great capture of the colours and crashing surf. Beauty.

Best regards, Tom

Yeah Tom, the results of eruptions in the 1700's and apart from here on the coast, untouched. It was an incredible landscape and they have made to most of it in the most unobtrusive way. This spot was great fun: waves arriving from the Atlantic crashing into caves and creating a lot of spray and noise.

Many thanks for the visit Tom,

Warm Regards,
