he then brags how many hits hes had??is that bare faced cheek or what.. does he not feel any guilt?

someGuyinmasset on February 27, 2009

Quite the joke hey Bob, don't let it get to you, a false victory is no victory at all. And people like that feel justified in their actions. One last month wrote a big comment saying why his picture needed spamming because it wasn't so hot as a thumbnail. Guy.

We're with you, Bob!

Bits-n-Pieces on February 27, 2009

Thanks for your support, Bob ! Its disgusting, isn't it? Seems the Site Admins feel if we don't like the garbage, we can just delete it. They seem to be ostriches with their heads in the sand about the damage the contest is doing to the site.

Happy Snapper on February 27, 2009

well i just like fair play..a level playing field..if there is a competition let the best photo win....its obviouse that if a guy says look at my competition picks to 10000 people a good % will give it a vote even if it isnt outstanding..it just stinks..i cant see the point in it even for him... the hours on here touting people to vote...cant be the prize..its not worth that much anyway..beats me..its not a real win anyway ..wheres the honour in winning by bending the rules?

Happy Snapper on February 27, 2009

i just read the bit about the phumbnail .well i think the thumbnail view show a good composition..theres a few at it anyway i think not just one but i think we both know who the major culprit is.ive looked at his gallery and its average.he will vote for any garbage in here just to get a return thank you in the form of a vote.well im putting a few in next months competition .if i get a few views il be happy.

someGuyinmasset on February 28, 2009

There's more than a few major culprits backstreatbob, just stick to your guns and every once in a while you get a sincere comment that makes it worthwhile.

Bits-n-Pieces on March 1, 2009

Lots of good thoughts up there backstreatbob and Guy - Thanks!

And I just found out that Kamaly is REALLY envious of this shot! Grumbles and whines all the time about how she should have gotten it. Score another one for ME! (she's such a hog. her first sunset from this spot is one of the first squares to show in New England on GE, along with her silly swan. she doesn't need this one!)

not1word on March 1, 2009

Why don't you spam Kamaly for votes on this one, Bits?

diannemcd on March 2, 2009

Definitely deserves my vote. Dianne

My Contest Februar Photos

My favorite photo!

Greetings from Germany, Christian

Thanks for visiting Christian. I'd prefer to not get Contest Links on my photos, though. A photography competition should be about photography, not advertising.

Bits-n-Pieces on March 2, 2009

Thanks Dianne! :)

by the way, Bits-n-Pieces, regarding contest spammers: you spoke right from my heart...

someGuyinmasset on March 7, 2009

A hundred views, a vote, and no contest link, what more could a girl ask for?

Happy Snapper on March 7, 2009

and not a seagull in sight....my vote

Bits-n-Pieces on March 8, 2009

Thanks fabiolah ! It's always good to hear from those who don't support the advertizing for votes in what should be a photography contest!

Thanks very much Skyhunter

And Thanks Bob! There actually are a few in this, but I shooed them off, so they're flying off to deliver their 'message' else where!

Thanks very much Guy - So does that make this C-note? And yup, this is a photo entered in 'The Contest' without a Contest tag, and that doesn't get advertised by spamming: 'Novus Ordo Seclorum' !
