In my humble opinion, the ships should have been stripped out and all pollutants removed..They could have been sunk just off shore, near Huntcliffe or Skinningrove, to create much needed reefs..

These marine conservation areas are vital if we are serious about saving the indigenous local North sea species such as cod, haddock, ling, coal-fish, pollack, whiting, pouting, sea-bream, wrasse and many others.

I wonder what will happen to them?

That would certainly have made good use of them Jim...certainly when one listens to the news the fishing stocks are in great danger...so anything to help redress that situation should be done..
