One of my favorite Trains. I used to travel on it (The Devonian) every summer holiday from Torquay to Wakefield Westgate or sometimes Kirgate. Y* Like. Nice shot. Can't stick your head out anymore lol.

Wow Tone sound like a long journey.I did a Railtour behind a pair from York to Plymouth with a visit to laira shed and also one fron York to Weymouth with 40001.Best wishes Alan

Hi Alan. Six hours was all it took and in those days there was a Restaurant car which did lovely 3 course meals, that helped. Plus we were given puzzle books and sweets. AAH the memories. York to Plymouth is a long haul. So to York to Weymouth. Best wishes Tone.
