Thank you Stephan, it is really a seldom phenomen here in Hamburg, and at that day I took my car and went outside the city to some hills south of Hamburg. Because only at the southern side of the hills the wind (coming from south) brought the humidity and in connection with low temperatures it formed the ice crystals - very special event.

Yesterday there was another event, The greatest simphonyconcert worldwide in Hamburg :

100 musicians/50 places /one concert: They played Brahms' 2. Simphony, conducted by Simone Young being on top of the tower of St. Michaelis.

The musicians played at various places, distributed over Hamburg. The conductor was transfered via TV at the venues.

It was Klaus040 who came up with the idea to take fotos from the musicians, and here is my result.

Hallo Stephan,

thank you for nice words, and for visiting my gallery, I am pleased to hear that you like classic music.

Unfortunately I could not get more pictures, the location have been to far away from each other, so concert was finished before I could get round.

Best wishes from Hamburg
