This is the view from Alta Peak, in Sequoia National Park, looking south at Sugarbowl Dome (near the center of the photo). Beyond that is the Cliff Creek valley (the Timber Gap Trail follows the creek). Alta Meadow is in the foreground. This photo was taken on 20 August 1982.
