These sad pictures of French Guiana Island, where the novel by Henri Charrier made a sensational escape life prisoner Papillon! Author of the novel claims that he personally was in custody and just few easy escapes from the Devil's Island. This novel filmed the famous American movie directed by Franklin J. Shefner in 1973 year. These photos are images of prison hospitals ruins, solitary confinement prisoners resembles a ruthless and cruel treatment needed criminals in those 30 years of the last century! Steve Mc Queen created the image of Papillon, will always remain in my heart is a symbol of the man who for the sake of freedom, risked his life.
