that is simply spectacular! How many mornings you must have froze waiting for those conditions! I'm curios though, why did you not include the mountain?
Great shot of an over photographed subject Tom! Did you crop Mt Rainier or do you have a shot with it in it? I suspect the great composition has alot to do with how it's framed.

Wow, this is excellent! I've spent many mornings at Kerry Park trying to get a decent sunrise and I am yet to come home with something worthy. This makes me jealous!
Thanks all! All I can say is that I got lucky! This was taken early in the morning in January, which for some reason is when all my good Space Needle photos were taken. (Probably because sunrise in January is around 7. Any other time of the year I'm asleep at sunrise.)
What a sunrise! Marvelous!
P.s.: It's the first time when I see a real fog, and not a stinky smoke on the foto of the big city (sorry for bad half-russian-english):)
