Friendly greetings to you both from nick
Beautiful colours again. Looks really peaceful there inviting one to pack a picnic lunch, grab a good book and just relax and enjoy an afternoon nearby.
Henny Penny ~ One of these days I capture this scene with loads of sheep in the frame I hope! ~~ I totally agree with you Jen that this is a place for a picnic, some good company and a bottle of wine, or else on your own with a good book as you suggest. Either way ~ mellow ~ thanks for visiting and most friendly greetings to you ~ ciao nick
I hope you do get that photo some day soon. It would be great to see.
I've decided our picnic spot deserves a Y*.
Henny Penny ~~ um some golden star that is lovely and it will not attract the wasps either :) Can we spread it on muffins?
Hi Jen and seriously many thanks for the Y* and it is good to hear from you ~ I have been out all day, with only the odd dip into pano ~ so only now really back in the saddle ~ with a new month and not the slightest sign of an April Fool trick anywhere ~ I must study my Times soon ~ there is bound to be one there:) Ciao nick
Hello to you young Nick, I hope you had a good day. Your welcome for the y* Nick, thanks for the pleasure you photos bring. I only noticed the sheep in that photo just now, how slack is that. I must have been to busy planning the picnic and which book I was going to take to read :)
As you say, a new month and no sign of an April Fool trick, thankfully. I think it's a habit which is dying out. I do hope so. Those sort of things tend to get out of hand.
Have a good night Nick. Catch you later.
Young? Nick ~ who is kidding who here I wonder? Jen you now have to let us all know what the selected book for an afternoon's read in the Countryside beside this little river is going to be ~ nothing too high brow I hope! ~ The sheep are very elusive at times you know ~ they come and go and sometimes wear camouflage!!
You're only as old as you feel Nick, doesn't matter what the mirror tells you.
I thought a book of poetry might have been nice, however after some careful consideration I decided that I'd rather just lay back close my eyes, relax and listen to the sound of the water trickling by and all the other peaceful sounds that one hears while in the county.
What smart sheep you have over there. I swear that sheep wasn't there before.
Henny Penny ~ well I'm very young really Jen as most of us are. As to the sheep ~ well ~I did tell you ~ they come and they go ~ one day they might rule the world ~ but only if all the border collies are wiped out first!!!
Very nice picture. I found several I like on this end of your gallery. Some nice country churches and other country scenes. Have a nice day. Guy
Geezer Vz ~ Hi again Guy I'm glad that you found some shots that suit your tastes ~ pleased to meet you and most friendly greetings ~ Ciao nick
