Yes, Agatha Christie’s fictional village of St. Mary Mead could be any of a number of English villages; and on which it was modelled is a mystery! One could imagine a Murder in the Vicarage.
I believe that in the TV Series the village of Nether Wallop in Hampshire was used for the filming.
