This Photograph was taken whilst being stationed there, Whilst serving in the Royal Navy in 1964-1965. The makeshift Helicopter Pad bottom left was the means of getting there from Kuching. The slower way was by sea and a hard clime up the steps shown in my other photographs, the path then emerged to the right of the Helicopter Pad.

I was also at TJP as part of Naval Party Kilo in 1966. My name is Pete (robbie) Robinson. The people I was up the lighthouse with were Ed Thirrouez(?) and Martin Morrissey and a big chap who I can't remember the name of. I was clearly up there with you as I have a couple of the photos you have posted. The snake and the iggy on the badmington court. I also have a couple of myself, Martin, and the other chap. You took one of us down on the beach with Cilla the dog.
