Greetings from Atlanta to my Panoramio friends! This is where I will be spending the next two weeks. The Atlanta Administration and Conference Center of Mercer University houses the archives of the American Baptist Church, and that is where I am dong historical research. Marilyn

Hi Marilyn, you are in the South! Scarlet O'Hara and Gone with the wind are in the air. Have a nice time.

Nice detail and lovely blue sky. Cheers, Daniela

Dear Marilyn!

I read your profile and I know you are interested in the churches. I took some photos mainly in Hungary and abroad about churches as well. If you like the picture about the churches and you have a little time I draw your attention to them.

Best regards,

I only watches ATL from inside the car and so i'd like to see your view of it

Thank you, Mario, Daniela, GyurIca, Michael, and Mike.

As you see by now, I ended up showing you nothing more of Atlanta! I was too tired by the end of a hard day's work, and we left the city on weekends. Maybe I'll look around more on our next trip when the days will be a little longer.

Cheers, Marilyn

Dear Marilyn WOW I've looked through your "Georgia" Tag! I felt like you were in my backyard!! :) Now listen to this, My mom was a Mercer...and is on the family tree out there somewhere with this family of Mercers...also with the famous Johnnie Mercer of Savannah. (the musical Johnnie Mercer) not close in on the tree, but on the tree...My second cousin here in my town (a Mercer himself) does family tree research and ancestors going way back in the Mercer family...just wanted to let you know my heart kinda skipped a beat with the mention of the Mercer name, or this Mercer University that I am so well familliar with. Nice to chat with you Marilyn...Savannah is where my children were born, go there to all my doctors, to those hospitals, to shop, to Tybee Beach,(carried a wedding cake there last summer, the seashell one in my gallery, Cake tag) and will be going in the next week or so to carry 2 grandaughters. We go there very often if nothing but just to go eat at some of the great restaurants, Seafood mostly:)) Gotta run, I'am working on a cute cake for someone that must be finished. Goodnight Marilyn.

warm wishes/Sarah
