I reckon that driving this Goliath would be a challenge, especially in the UK. Any idea what the max weight of this rig might be?
Its a good shot sugarbag1.
G'day Jim.I am not sure exactly of the max weight, but I think around 100 Metric Ton.I know that the Roadtrains that carry Bluegum Logs, there load is up to 80 ton plus the weight of Primer Mover and the trailers, so could be a bit over 100 ton. I have never driven one, but I have been for a ride in one, you sit up very high. Also notice that most cars get out of the way of them. The trucks are usally really good on these roads around where I live. Its hard to overtake take them on the road as they travel at 100klms per hour , empty or loaded.I have more, of these here. Thanks for dropping by. Kind Regards, David
Wow, very long :-o
Hello Jurgen. I am glad you like this shot. There is a link above in another comment.I have since found out that trucks with this combination of trailers, total weight loaded, is anything from 120 to 130 tons.I am glad that you have seen our truck. We have a record of truck that is over 600 meter long.Yes thats right.600 meters. Itin the Guiness Book of Records in Western Australia.I will try and find the link to it.Best Regards,David

Those trailers are 40ft long, plus you have this extra bit as well. All up and total weight when loaded around 127 ton.
