  1. The picture was taken on April 2008 on a very, very clear day, which I admit was a gift.
  2. I used the Nikon D300, which does tend to take impressive pictures.
  3. I used the Hoya multicoated UV filter, which helps to reduce the haze.
  4. I increased the shadow intensity in Picasa, as when I took the picture I was new to the D300 and did not realize that it tends to overexpose the pictures by 0.5 to 1 f-stop.
  5. I had increased by 1 notch the color saturation on the Standard setting of the camera. Unlike the D200 the built-in color saturation in the D300 can be stunning if increased.

No other post-processing.
