Tug Boat Pushes Barges Up River Near the Oregon Trail Discovery Center

Great Shot!! You always manage to catch the river at its best! What sort of equipment do you use?

Hello Matthew, I think the main equipment I use is LUCK! When it come to catching shots of the Columbia river when It's so still. Usually the wind is always blowing and rippling the water no matter where you are. As for the other equipment I always bring My Digital Canon XT, Canon Rebel 2000 w/ slide film and my Kodak easy share 5.0. I also use a Sigma 28-70mm 2.8-4.5f and a Sigma 70-300mm 4-5.6f Lenses. For this photo I used the Canon XT and the Sigma 28-70. This shot was to be part of a larger panoramic but the exposure of the other shots didn't come out. Maybe next time..
