There are fewer of this kind of countryside village markets left as most younger generations left their hometowns for higher-paid jobs in big cities. Only the elderly stay there. Recently, giant discount stores from UK and France have crept in and introduced modern shopping lifestyle, forcing old community like this one to near extinction.
