This is at 11,000 ft (3352 meters) elevation. The snow doesn't finish melting until the end of August and some years it doesn't finish melting at all. It snows in the summer up there sometimes. I've been caught camping in some summer snowstorms here. Thanks for the nice comment though. THis is one of my favorite shots as well.
