Heavy rain, water in the street, and grey skies highlight the colorful surroundings seen on Chan Mueang 4 from Yim Yim Place.

Solving BKK flood - mission impossible.

Mission impossible indeed w☺rap☺ng《阿鵬》! The water seems to disappear as quickly as it comes though, maybe because a lot of Bangkok is built on what used to be marsh land. Looking at the white buildings at the top left of the picture found here they're actually sinking into the ground - I was told by the owner of one of them that I could buy her house for 1 million Baht, not overly expensive in BKK and close to a Tesco, Fortune Town, and a subway station, but I was a little put off by some big cracks in the floor and walls :)

You're right, Olaf. Also at any dirt-cheap price and even if you have a deep pocket, as long as it's a bad location (flooding, burglary, congestion), it will bring you a lot of headache. Like something stuck in your throat all the time. Worse than trying to sell a worn-out car. :)
