A few high buildings are on the outskirts of Aberdeen.
Einige Hochhäuser säumen die Peripherie der Stadt.
Nice shot May, still a bit overcast, Don,t be tempted to have a wee dip, the North sea is still on the cool side,LOL We got a 10 centimetre covering of snow this morning in Paisley, Happy motoring Scally.
Thank you, Scally! I was surprised about Aberdeen. I didn't expect such a busy town at the far North of the UK. I stayed only overnight, had a short walk in the area and spent a little time on the seaside in Aberdeen. I got a positive impression of the town with its elegant grey Victorian houses, broad roads and those high buildings near the sea, on which there were always some tankers in view. Probably you know some other parts and some pubs of Aberdeen. :)
In my country we have some more snow as well, actually it's snowing now. Cheers, May
The flats are alighed quite beautifully! Best wishes, Fai
Thank's a lot Fai! I found it very pretty there too! Best regards, May
Buildings look like toys. Very nice!
Thank you, Igor! Yes, you are right, it's because of the grass in the foreground. All is relative! :)
They have run out of grey granite! O dear!! This needs to be relocated to Watford, or Seoul. The impact of a mining boom!
Still it is a picturesque image, and delightfully, even playfully, composed, May.
Thank you, Ian! You have a fine sensing, I took care to have the grass in the foreground appear big and to make the buildings look like pleasant toys, like Igor recognized as well. And I loved the colours of the clouds and the buildings in the field.
Warm regards, May
