Juan Carlos, thank you! There must be a mistake, you can't have seen my picture in a contest. I don't like contests and I have never participated in one. Maybe 'bettybu', who has written to so many of your photos, knows about them. ;) Greetings, May

Cher Domi, merci beaucoup pour ta visite et ton commentaire. Oui, ces couleurs étaient très belles. J'aime cette campagne. Amitiés, May :)

Viktor, thank you very much! Scotland's countryside is very beautiful! Best wishes, May

Hello May. I admire your keen eye for photos. I find a clever action waiting for the shadow/ sunlight green on the grass with browns, so with the blue of the sky, shot appears to me like a nice flag. Perhaps I don't make myself understood (?)

Your Scotland series shows perfectly the typical countryside, even without indication can be recognized.

Your photos for me are a kind of lesson. May, thank you.

Rafael, thank you very much, you are too kind! I appreciate your compliments. I am sure, we can learn from each other. You are right about the flag, let it be a flag for something peaceful, like mental generosity and affection. :)

Warm regards, May

May What a nice words: "mental generosity and affection". Think such a waves of migrations destroy areas cultures and behaviours! Perhaps mistaken for my age but feel an enormous difference comparing present thoughts and behaviours of people in front of life and those of my long ago youth!

Let us hope your beautiful foto flag can keep for some time our feelings degradation. Thank you May accept readig about my thoughts or better my so poor phylosophy.

Warm regards. Rafael.

Mental generosity and affection!! this picture is great art and whenever it pops up in my window May it touches me. Very meticuously done with the connections to colorsettings in the paintings of Cezanne...Real art is what touches you... Thank you so much May warm wishes from Denamrk, Peter

Rafael and Peter, my friends, thank you both very much for taking over my motto: Mental generosity and affection, and let it be our MGA-word! :)

Rafael, thanks so much for your philosophical thoughts! I know that it troubles a lot of people, that there are migrations. Everything has taken a different level of speed as was the case two generations ago, but migration has always been going on. We both know, that the world lives in an never ending change and probably only partly because of migrations. So as much as maybe is destroyed as much will be added as well. Hopefully we can have a conversation about this interesting topic more intense some other time. For now, I have to stop, because I am late in answering comments and I have to write my tax declaration. :( Warm regards, May

Peter, thank you very much! I feel happy and flattered that you appreciate this photo so much. I must confess, I like it very much as well. :) Cezanne is one of my favourite painters. Thanks for the link! It's wonderful to find out about friends' interests! See you later! :) Warm wishes, May

So gentle, so smooth, so lightly coloured that it seems that it could only be watered by the gentleness of the fogs. I also love the timing of your photo, May, to maximise the cloud shadows and the light.

Margrit M. Berger (S… on April 14, 2009

Thank you, dear Ian¨The timing was accidental. :) O, how I loved this scenery and this soft wideness with an ever present breeze. I was and still am happy that Aberdeenshire was so kind to offer me such delight. I really wish to go back again. Though I only just passed, it was very intense and the feeling remains, I inhaled it to become part of myself.

Kind regards, May
