After a journey along the coast, I got into the inland and found with the help of very friendly Scottish people a B&B with a welcoming landlady near Huntly, of course it was night again and raining. On the other day I went through Malt Whisky country, see above.

Lovely landscape, May...the golden blooms nicely contrast the distant pale meadows and mountains. Nicely captured!!

Would you believe we had more than 7 inches of snow on Sunday, the 1st of March??? It definitely looks like spring in Scotland.

Best regards, Julie

Thank you, Julie! I do believe it, because we have still a lot of snow and there will be more again on Thursday.

The new photos from Scotland are from June last year.

Kind regards, May

Edmundo, yemtaş, Zaman, Tonia, Nicolas, Ellen thank you all so much for your visit and for your wonderful comments!

Edmundo, it's probably hard to understand, but I don't drink Whisky, not even in Scotland. ;)

yemtaş, yes, it is a beautiful countryside!

Zaman, sorry, I have to admit, that I didn't remember, I put this photo up before. Since there are some very nice comments on both, I don't think it to be fair to delete either. After GE will have checked this series, I'll map it.

Dear Tonia, don't bother, it's not an obligation to look at galleries. I think time is a problem for all of us. :) You are such a sweet girl/woman with a good heart, just take your time and I am happy, if you excuse my late answers. :) Hugs, May

Nicolas, :)) thanks, I had a good laugh. Those winding roads also go up and down. But I wondered where the barley fields were, I hope they don't import the malt ;) Maybe Scally or some other Whisky-Expert can tell...

Liebe Ellen, herzlichen Dank! :) Ich umarme dich, May

Thanks again and warm regards to you all, my friends! May

Ciao, May

Mes meilleures salutations, May

Hallo May, sehr schöne Aufnahmen! Wie hat der Whiskey geschmeckt? Gruß, Hermann.

May M. B. (Swissmay) on April 10, 2009

Herzliche Grüsse, May

Ciao, kerrick.

May M. B. (Swissmay) on October 16, 2009

Ciao, Kerrick e grazie! La Scozia mi piace anche molto! Tanti saluti, May
