Great kayak trip to get the shot. Area is fantastic but you must pick the right time of the year (can be very wet and cold)

Did you find the cabin at the north end of the beach?

Yes. We also encountered mother and cub wolf tracks on the beach and went swimming in the creek at the south end of the beach.

Nice - yes, lot's of wildlife there. There's also an old, ruined cabin several hundred meters up the creek at the south end of the beach - supposed to have been built by draft dodgers in the late sixties. A fellow name Washburne built the cabin at the north end in '85 - his accounts of Burnett Bay make interesting reading. He also built one on the Deserter's Group but the surrounding bush got hit with defoliant and he dis-assembled it.
