Oh to be a kid again in school holidays with nothing to do except explore and enjoy the sun, sea and sand!

Hi Hazel, it would be lovely to be able to visit SA, unfortunately my husband has heart trouble so traveling long distances together is a little difficult. I can see why my brother loves SA so much, your photos show how beautiful it is there.

Yes Hazel, there are so many talented people on Panoramio, it's lovely to be able to visit so many beautiful and interesting countries from the comfort of my computer chair :)

I am sorry to hear about your husband and can understand the difficulties of a long trip. I am so glad my little attempt to illustrate some aspects of SA has given you a feel for the country!! I wish you lots of happy "travelling" in front of your pc screen (have been doing a lot of that, too, lately - maybe too much because home chores are being horribly neglected!!)

Please do visit again, maybe we could have an imaginary cup of Rooibos Tea together!! ((;
