London to Brighton was completed by myself (and a work colleague) today! About others 27000 took part too. An endless steam o fbikes coming into Brighton and along the sea front. Nice achievement, considering it's all sponsored for Britsh Heart Foundation. It was good weather for it, dry, and not too hot.

Thanks for asking!! The trip took 5 hours, but that was mainly because of congestion, especially on the uphill bits. I think the 'lesson learned' is go for a very early start next time. For me, the more satisfying bit was to add up all the money we made for the Heart Foundation, covering the distance was almost incidental. Loads of people on the run were just 'fun' cyclists, quite happy to keep peddling away, knowing that sooner or later they'd get there. Maybe you fancy a go next year?
