Here you go Skyhunter, as requested ;)

Remember, these are my thoughts and may bear no resemblance to collected wisdom, poetry or anything for that matter. Disagree as you wish :)

You've got lovely tones, textures and shininess in the bells. I can see there's a shot in there somewhere but not sure you've got the best of it. The shapes and glisten of the bells is good but they're getting lost in the background.

Not sure whether the subject is lots of bells or a main bell getting lost amongst lots of bells. Maybe you weren't too sure either? The way it is, it's not really one or the other.

That's what makes this sort of shot so difficult. For me, I'd probably go for a shot where one bell (and all/most of its mechanism) fills the frame, taken from an angle where you can see there's a load of them. A narrow depth of field would do wonders to bring attention where you want it.

I'm assuming the brickwork has lots of reds/yellows in it? If so, on the conversion to mono, I'd be working those channels to give a contrast between them as the background and the bells.

Just a few subjective thoughts :) Cheers, Mark

You have Absolutly reason.. Yes the shapes and glisten of the bells getting lost in the background and i will try to remake the monoconversion for put right the contrast.. Thank you very Much for the opinion.. I want learn and your comments are very precious..! Thank you. Skyhunter

i think the best title.

and don't forget the role of vertical chains in the composition. Or no chains, weak composition.

good work.

If I may write my opinion ,I think this photo is about abstract shapes and light and not about a particular subject. I believe it succeeds its purpose in that. Its almost like a painting in black and white. I like it very much! Greetings from Greece - Dimitris

I think that this is a good B&W, but the composition is a little confused. Probably was necessary to select more.

thank you Skyhunter for inviting me to comment on this wonderful shot of yours.

The resolution is clear. The subjects are a standout. I would take a similar and reduce the EV to make slightly dark to give a good drop in the shadow. Then slowly increase the contrasts.

The other option is to shot under expose, normal expose and over expose. Then lay the 3 shots into one.

Excellent work. best regards, matt
