The Torrey Pines Reserve is just south of Del Mar, just north of La Jolla. I believe the Torrey Pine also grows on one of the islands in Channel Islands National Park off Oxnard, CA, and they grow outside the reserve throughout the towns of Del Mar and La Jolla. It is good the reserve was set-up though or they probably would no longer exist.
