Hello, this is Russ Rowlett, webmaster of the Lighthouse Directory, hosted at the University of North Carolina, USA. This is a very rare photo of the Kavaratti lighthouse, and I am hoping you will allow me to use it on the Directory's page for lighthouses of Lakshadweep. The Directory is an educational project, completely non-commercial. Please take a look (second photo on the page); I hope you will think this is a fair use.

Surely, Russ Rowlett, I am hereby allowing you to use this photo for your Directory's page for lighthouses of Lakshadweep. Your project is praiseworthy, God bless.

Kavaratti’s prime attraction is the Urja Mosque, a most important pilgrim centre of Muslims and the most beautiful shrine in Lakshdweep. Other attractions here are a captivating Aquarium with many varieties of corals and different species of beautiful colourful fish. This is an ideal spot for water sports. Kavaratti Island
