This photo was taken while flying over the ocean at 500 feet. This photo was taken Before 9/11, as this is now restricted airspace.

Please do some research before you post things in a very public area. The name of the site is the St. Lucie Nuclear Plant. Port Saint Lucie is a city to the west of the plant.

Sigh... Beautiful images of the site, though outdated now. And the airspace is no longer restricted...
St Lucie Nuclear Plant is on Hutchinson Island of which is partially in Martin and St Lucie County. The plant is entirely in St Lucie COUNTY. None of which is in the city of Port St Lucie which is to the west of the plant and across the Indian River. It is NOT in Fort Pierce which is north west and further away than Port St Lucie. The plant is not in a city, it is on county land on Route A1A straddled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River giving it exceptional cooling options. The canal spoken of is connected to BOTH bodies of water and runs through the plant...

How do I know this? I not only live across the river from the place with my six kids, I work there...
