My Grandparents lived in a beautifull place in Hanoi between Lake "Truc Bach" and Lake "Tay". That time I lived in another city but sometimes we went to Hanoi to visit our Grands. In the narrow but full of sunlight and red flowers "Phuong" avenue between the lakes, some 30 years ago I saw a small, odd monument. My grandfather told me that the sculpture had been created " .. to commemorate the shooting down of USA war plane, and capturing the pilot". Now I know that the pilot was Senator John McCain. Today as you see, behind the sculpture there is the place of love and rebuilding, and you can see the beautiful lake, and the sunny sky ...
