Yeah, was our first week with the S3IS and we didn't realize it cranks the ISO to 1600 for the "sports mode" The feature is ok though as a low light "should work" setting.

We used the "sports" mode last night to capture shots of a lava dome in the Telica volcano by leaning over the rim and just pointing down.
