hi nickho, the islamic worship place is known as Mosque(in English) and "Masjid"(in their local language) where as Churches resembles Christianity, be it Protestants or Catholic. Mosques have semi hemispherical top with a Quarter Moon and a Star on very top whereas Church have a conical top with a Cross on very top.
