migueljv, thank you for your visit and your nice comments to my photos. As to the church and colours. I would like to explain, that at that time chuches were the only objects for architecture, except palaces of noble people. Churches were for everybody. The colour of domes is specific - these are colours of Our Lady in the Orthodox symbolism. Bright colorus - first, fortunately they were repainted, as this is not often, and second - here the winter and midle seasons are often grey and dark. Only bright colours gave support to people during the long preriods without sun. Olga
