it was a good weekend,they had a drum band playing in the squire,weather was good(no rain).run took 1hr 32mins,it was a real good trail run.bythe way jethro the purple house in newlands valley,has been knocked down to.

Aaaarggghhhh you are kidding' me!

I knew someone who lodged in that house. Stark raving mad she was. I never could understand how they got to paint it that color and get away with it!

one of the locals told me the mother painted it that colour to blend in with the heather on the fellside.
