Jealous?

I got the second prize (Heritage) in February. If you visit the awards in February, you can see it. I won the prize with a superb picture. Nobody discussed my picture. Now you have reason to be jealous.

Guía arquitectura, on May 13, 2009, said:

"evoke emotions or memories of the past, especially your hometown/motherland": motherland isn't mother's house; hometown isn't home in your town. All the world understand the meaning of the word "Heritage".

I agree with the critic of Crise and Yofillol I don't see jealous attitude, it is a constructive critic about quality of your picture and a critic to Panoramio to accept this picture in Heritage cathegory. When the river sounds...

Thank you very much Topseee, Sefa and Salehyar for your kind words. You make me smile!

Guia architectura. I said before that I accept your critics. Maybe it's a problem of of the meaning of word. Hometown isn't necessary home, but the it can be too in my opinion. But these categories are confuse sometimes. You can put the same photo on Travel and Scenary, for example.

Like I said, I'm not that good in spanish, but I think I understand the meaning. Thanks God that the majority of people doesn’t make “constructive criticism” like that! He’s ridicularizing the photo. It’s is called envy or jealous! He doesn’t even notice that there is a moon in the picture and not a sun!!!

Crise, you’ve got a 2nd prize right? Congratulations! but I guess you wanted the 1st, don’t you? I hope you don’t think only photo taken on a cemetery deserves to be on Heritage category.

Crise Marín de Espin…, on May 14, 2009, said:

Sun ... moon ..... Does that invalidate the rest of my arguments?. Can you give me some photographic approach that makes a good picture in your photo? I do not like your picture. And I have proven with photographic criteria, your picture is technically poor.

For other hand, my photo of the Cementerio de Colón, talks about the history of a city. Talk of an artistic style. These are stones that have survived historical and speak of a society.

Guía arquitectura, on May 14, 2009, said:

Guia So we agree about the contest and its categories. It's a lit bit confusing.

But I disagree with you about marketing. This is very very relative. The promotion makes the photo to be more visited, but not voted. This photo has around 400 views when it was choosen. There some with much more than 2000 and did not get a prize. I do have posted some links for my contest photos, there were 4 photos competing among themselves and the users choose this one as the best. In addition I say this is a unique shot! I didn't see any photo similar to this one here on panoramio, that also account for.

But now the rules changed. I disagree but I'm ok.

Another time I answer to Crise. I'm bored right now. He wants to ridicularize my shot.

I can say also that there was light on the street I took the photo and there was a shining moon as you can see!

I'm glad that the photo was so superb that there is people thinking it was a fake!
