Thanks Helen ! You wouldn't have believed how bright it is there - reflecting off the snow in a wide flat valley. If it hadn't been about 5F, one could have gone outside at night to read a book!
Thanks Ben! Mountain biking? Its sure a pretty nice spot, and must have been beautiful in September. Someday I'll make it out there around then - seems it would be a perfect time to see Yellowstone.
Excellent work Kamaly, I like it.
Greetings from Barcelona, Karppanta.
thanks very much Karppanta! Cheers!
Hi kamaly yes I did check out your link from n1w's photo. The coincidence is quite amazing, as is your photo. From all accounts way to early for my liking! Its a pity that we can't see the properties anymore.
Thanks marbiz - and I think you wouldn't find the time of the morning when n1w and I each got our moon sets too bad at all. Both shots were at the western side of the time zone, a few days after Daylight Savings Time started. Sunrise/moonset was at the perfect time even for us non-early risers: about 7:45 a.m. ! Even I can catch those!
Wonderful winter mood!
Thanks tu-quoque - it was a pretty great winter morning, with rime ice crystals sparkling everywhere. But it was also -15C ! So not quite as wonderful as it looks, lol. Cheers!
Nice shot !
Hi rudy picke - Thanks very much for that! It was a gorgeous day. Unfortunately, as usual with my trips to the area, the gorgeous day was when I had to get on a plane to leave!
I love to see the full moon in the morning as I go out to do chores. You have many wonderful moon pictures here. Thanks.
Thanks JB! It took me a long while to realize the beauty of the setting full moon. But it sure makes a winter morning special. Thanks so much for your nice comments!
