Surfing at Newquay near it's famous Fistral Beach. I have put this on here for my surfing friend, down under in Australia, Steve. I have never tried this but after seeing it for a while it must be great fun. Enjoy, Herb

Another surfing thrill?

Herb what a good wave shot glad you had a try at it even by the look of the shot next door a great place for waves and the best part you have a rocky point we only have 50miles long sandy beach. top shot Y* steve

Great action shot Herb -- I especially like the way you captured the wave. Also like shadow frame. Well done.

Happy trails, Bruce

Ah ha, glad you both like this. I was thinking of your shots as I took this Steve. It takes a long time to get something decent, as each time I am just about to press my shutter the surfer gets dragged into the sea! Bruce, as you can guess my number one priority was to get something pictorially acceptable and the surfing shot was slightly secondary. I am grateful that with this shot I managed both it seems. Glad you like these drop-shadow frames that seem to suit some pictures much better than others.

Cheers to you both, Herb

Hi Dianne, the twelve month anniversary since you sent me your comment and I have only just noticed. Shame on me, I ask your forgiveness. I am happy you liked this nevertheless. Cheers, Herb
