OK! You've got my attention, Kenny. Why was it only 3 horseshoes, and what is it now? I'd love to live in a house like that.
It is now a private residence but it used to be a Public House selling beer. A lot of pubs were called the three horse shoes as, like this one, a blacksmith shop was attached. When your horse lost a shoe you would stop at the smithy and you would go next door and have a flaggon of ale!!
I actually live in this house! Our family bought it when it was in terrible condition, with the bar area and guest toilets still in the building. After several years of hard work, the house is now beautiful with 3 large bedrooms, and a huge garden that was once a carpark and beer garden.
Wow - I hope you don't mind me photographing your property.
I can remember frequenting this place over thirty years ago. It was a proper chicken in a basket pub. I have many stories about this place but they are not for here!!!
