I worked in that building for almost 8 years. I have many memories of this work of art. When 9/11 took place, my co-workers & I, were worried that we could be a target since the terrorists were attacking American ideological landmarks: Pentagon = US Military might; Twin Towers = US Financial might. We were concerned that since Houston represents US Energy might & the Transco Tower (now Williams Tower) represents Houston's oil & gas industry, we could be next. Of course, fortunately that never happened.

Whatever the name, it is hard not to notice this landmark in Uptown Houston. I understand your concern after 9/11.
