Great title. I like that swoop of water/shore.

kamalyn on March 16, 2009

Thanks for the words not1word :) It's funny how every sunset seems to be different out at this spot - and this was sure a nice one.

Nice colors in this, I see them here but don't seem to be able to snag them.

kamalyn on March 17, 2009

LOL, Guy - those pesky eagles, gulls and vivid sunsets just push all the subtle things right out of the way up there!

kamalyn on March 18, 2009

Thanks Dianne - it was a nice warm spring-like day. and pretty amazing to stand in one spot and be able to get 3 completely different photos within just a few minutes of each other

Silence and calmness!

kamalyn on March 22, 2009

Yes! Thanks very much Андрей824 (much better than in the summer when there will be 20 boats in this view!)

Love the subtle colors and textures of this, Kamaly, beautiful! Cheers, peargrin

kamalyn on March 24, 2009

Hi peargrin - thanks! I'm up at this spot a lot, but the calm and the light there the evening I took these shots was really unusual and striking.

It looks like Vancouver at this angle too. Across the water would be the university lands.

kamalyn on September 8, 2009

But does Vancouver have its very own Butler's Toothpick? ;)

whoelius on September 8, 2009

The hobos stole all the toothpicks. :(

whoelius on September 8, 2009

Or at least, one stole my toothpick while my concentration was on a banana.

A banana is a berry.

Norrel on September 8, 2009

A banana is a scarf.
