I find I only really like some of my shots in full size. Must learn how composition works differently in medium and thumbnail size...

whoelius on March 27, 2009

Mmmmm oranges! I love oranges and tangerines...

And above the good Bruce's comment, that is one EPIC double dose of SPAM!

kamalyn on March 28, 2009

Thanks Bruce! And thanks for the warning whoelius!

and hmmm, it just occured to me: perhaps I should re title this..... 'Duck a l'orange'

Simply Stunning. We never can have enough sunsets or sunrises, can we? (crows on the water! - what a laugh, Norrel.)

not1word on April 1, 2009

Crooooooooows on the waaaaaaaater A fire in the sky!

kamalyn on April 2, 2009

Hey, I know that song not1word! It's by Deep Orange!

And Thanks very much JohnyTopaz - Nope, never enough of them, and we here on the east coast try to wring as much color out of them as we can before we allow them to proceed off to the west :) Guy usually seems to be able to capture a Must be some special Canadian technology.

whoelius on April 2, 2009

This one's not in the contest? Aww.

kamalyn on April 2, 2009

Hi whoelius - thanks for that anyhow! Since the spammers take every entry as an invite for their ads, I try not to enter shots in the 'contest'. But a few others did overcome my reluctance :)

Then again, with all the seagulls in this, it would have been a surefire winner!

JohnyTopaz on April 3, 2009

kamaly - You get to 'wring in' the sunrise in the east, and Guy gets to 'wring out' the sunset in the west. (But we Canajians get to keep title on the technology:)

kamalyn on April 3, 2009

LOL Johny - Good one!

And I bet Norrel is a bit envious. I think he would love to be a Canadijen!

joyfotos on April 3, 2009

Great composition, contrast and color. Think this one will have to be a yellow star also.

kamalyn on April 6, 2009

Thanks joyfotos!

VIKTOR HERMAN on April 7, 2009

Wow!! beautiful colours, and very nice composition! Regards from Czech, Viktor

kamalyn on April 7, 2009

Thanks very much Viktor ! There was an owl in the distance there, and several other photographers were aiming at him - but I'm glad I decided to go for the sunset instead! Cheers from the States.

Inspector SAVE PANOR… on April 17, 2009

Fantastic kamaly and as Norrel said it looks even better full size. I saw some stunning sunsets from our mountains over Easter but didn't manage anything like this. H

Lesna_T on April 23, 2009

Not only liquid but melted sun!

kamalyn on April 23, 2009

Thanks Helen and Lesna ! Here's to hoping for a summer of them!
