The Sow rises about 1 mile south-west of Hookham in a spring called Sowhead, 617 feet above sea, and flows to its union with the Trent at Great Heywood, at an elevation of 238 feet above the sea.

Hi Jethro,

I hope your weather is improving! We are back to normal after about 4 days of glorious spring days.

I had never seen a machine like this before, and it certainly seemed to be doing the job well. I think that the weed was gathered up downstream.
